Margaret Stacy-Duffy serves as an Assistant Director for Career Development. She is responsible for overseeing employer engagement at North Central and enjoys supporting students to make connections with companies and organizations, as well as supporting students to pursue meaningful careers. She joined North Central College in 2019 as Assistant Director of the Center for Social Impact where she oversaw many efforts surrounding the Center’s five Pathways to Social Impact, including advising organizations involved in service and social impact, teaching within the Leadership, Ethics, and Values program, and providing programs dedicated to student civic engagement. 

Prior to North Central College, Margaret received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where she studied Earth Systems, Society, and Environmental Sustainability. After spending time working as a Community Mental Health worker in Pierre, South Dakota, she went on to receive her Master of Education degree from Marquette University in Educational Policy and Leadership, focusing on Student Affairs in Higher Education. Margaret is passionate about serving all students from diverse backgrounds, and supporting students to make connections across their academic and co-curricular experiences while in college in order to launch meaningful careers.
