Dr. Shan-Ju Chiang is an engineer whose research, teaching, and consulting focus on the batteries and advanced ceramics, specifically the solid-state batteries and ceramic-based flexible electrolyte for both Li-ion and Na-ion batteries.
Prior to North Central College, Shan-Ju was a R&D Engineer at NanoGraf Technologies. Shan-Ju's experience in industry spans research topics from the lab to the contemporary world substantively. During her PhD study, Shan-Ju led two student organizations–primarily worked with American Society of Metals (ASM International) Chicago Regional Chapter and Electrochemical Society (ECS) to facilitate STEM integration and education.
