Words I use to describe North Central students: North Central students are adventurous, dedicated, and welcoming! They truly are always doing amazing things on our campus. Our Cardinal community is always there to support and challenge each other to reach their goals.
Naperville "Must Do, See, or Eat" locations: My favorite place to eat Naperville is Empire Burgers & Brew! They have the best burgers (my favorite burger is the Sophia Loren) and views! I always try to sit in the upstairs balcony. You'll get a great view of the Naperville Riverwalk, which is the perfect thing to do after your meal. The Riverwalk is over 2 miles of beautiful views and feels like it belongs in a Hallmark movie! Honorable mention locations: Fat Rosie's Taco & Tequila Bar, Everdines Grilled Cheese Co., Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams, Sweetgreen, and Andersons Bookshop.
Favorite Season in Naperville: Fall is my favorite time of year in general, but seeing our campus thrive and come to life during that time is unbeatable. Also, nothing compares to North Central football in the Fall. Specifically, the NC Homecoming game is my favorite weekend here where the school puts on a massive show in Benedetti-Wehrli Stadium for perspective and current students, as well as our alumni community. They even have a firework show after the game!
What would people be surprised to know about you? I LOVE to read! I own over 300 books with the goal of having a library room of my own one day. A girl can dream!
Advice to students: Don't be afraid to ask questions and push yourself outside of your comfort zone! Most students are thinking and feeling the exact same things as you. This will help make the most of your college experience.
