Caitlin Luetger-Schlewitt is a Lecturer in Leadership and Career Readiness in the Leadership, Ethics, and Values Program and the School of Business and Entrepreneurship at North Central College. Her work is interdisciplinary, drawing on her background in the humanities & applied psychology/clinical counseling to help students create a path toward a meaningful life and career. Caitlin is Lab Coordinator for the Cardinal Internship experience and an Associate Fellow for the NCC Center for the Advancement of Faculty Excellence (Cafe).
Prior to joining North Central College, Caitlin served as Assistant Director of Career Coaching & Education at DePaul University’s Kellstadt Graduate School of Business, and she taught history and general humanities at 2- and 4-year colleges. In addition to her academic roles, Caitlin has previously worked in private practice as a personal and career counselor to achievement-focused college students, graduate students, and professionals at all stages of their careers. Caitlin currently holds an elected position on the Illinois Career Development Association Board of Directors, is a member of the Family Institute at Northwestern University Alumni Advisory Board, and serves as an Affiliate of the Center for Research on College-Workforce Transitions at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Caitlin is passionate about liberal arts education, career & personal development, and the intersections of wellness, work, and the human experience.
