Colin Johnson

Colin M. Johnson is a Lecturer in Economics and Business Statistics at North Central College. He holds a Master of Science in Applied Economics from Johns Hopkins University with an emphasis in quantitative methods. He also holds a B.B.A. in Economics and Finance from North Central College, from which he graduated in 2023. 

His current research interests span behavioral economics and macroeconometrics, with a particular focus on household financial decision-making and risk-taking behavior. His prior work has examined personal savings behavior during the COVID-19 pandemic and the role of behavioral biases in solar panel adoption decisions.

Outside of NCC, he enjoys playing tennis.
