Jenni Kapanen is the Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach and Assistant Professor of Health and Physical Education at North Central College. She has been a member of the North Central College faculty since 2004, and has taught a variety of theory and activity courses in the Health and Physical Education Department over her decade long tenure at the College. In addition to teaching, Kapanen serves as an internship supervisor and academic advisor for exercise science students, while also serving as a supervisor for teacher candidates in the Education Department. Kapanen has also been the head women’s lacrosse coach since the inauguration of the program in 2008. She holds a US Lacrosse Level 3 Coaching Certification, the highest certification available in Women’s Lacrosse. Prior to coaching lacrosse, Kapanen served as the head women’s soccer coach at North Central for several years.
