The North Central College advantage:
“My courses and the faculty helped prepare me with in-depth knowledge of Illinois laws and statutes and the root causes of crime and social inequality. I learned how to communicate and interact with individuals facing immense distress or traumatic situations. In addition, Cardinal First (For first-generation students) taught me social and organizational skills that I use every day at work. Through members of the College’s Criminal Justice Association, I learned about careers in criminal justice—and probably would not have found the position I am in today. As for my future, whether it’s law school, moving up in the Attorney General’s Office, or going to a federal agency, I know my education at North Central College will make it possible.”
