Honors Program Application

Please answer all parts of the application and email your letter of recommendation to honors@noctrl.edu. Information about the letter of recommendation can be found here. We begin reviewing completed applications in October. From there, applications are reviewed monthly. Applicants are notified of admission to the Honors Program via email. Please note, by applying and receiving acceptance to the Honors Program you are not committing to North Central College. Rather, you are giving yourself the opportunity to be a part of the Honors Program if you choose to join the Cardinal community.

As part of our focus to promote "Excellence through Community" among College Scholars, North Central College offers an honors housing option, a living learning community. Located in Ward Hall, honors housing provides students with an academically focused housing option that also includes access to faculty, study spaces, specialized social and cultural programs. While participation in honors housing is not required, honors students receive priority placement over other academically-focused students who are not part of the honors program. Honors housing residents can still request a roommate, however, one's roommate must also be a member of the honors program.
