Campus Wi-Fi

Stay connected wherever you learn, live, and work. North Central College provides wireless internet access in all campus buildings, with networks designed to support academic, administrative, and residential needs.

Academic Wi-Fi

NCC_Wireless is North Central College's primary wireless network, providing secure internet access throughout campus for academic, administrative, and day-to-day use. Available in classrooms, offices, residence halls, and common areas, NCC_Wireless connects you to the resources you need to learn, teach, work, and collaborate.

Connecting is EASY!
  1. Choose NCC_Wireless.
  2. Sign in with your NCC username and password.
  3. Start browsing!

It's that simple. Stay connected in classrooms, offices, residence halls, and across campus.

Residential Entertainment Wi-Fi

The NCC_Entertainment network is designed for devices that do not support the standard NCC wireless login process, such as devices that cannot enter a username and password to connect to Wi‑Fi.

Common supported devices include:

  • Gaming consoles
  • Smart TVs
  • Streaming devices
  • Smart speakers and digital assistants

For the best performance, devices equipped with an Ethernet port should continue to use the wired network whenever possible. Wired connections provide faster and more reliable access than wireless connections.

Before a device can connect to NCC_Entertainment, it must be REGISTERED. Follow the instructions on The Hub to register your device and begin using the network.

Guest Wi-Fi

North Central College provides an NCC_Guest network for visitors who need temporary internet access while on campus. The guest network is intended for prospective students, families, conference attendees, guest speakers, and other campus visitors. Registration is required before connecting.

Current students, faculty, and staff should use NCC_Wireless and sign in with their NCC credentials rather than the guest network.
