Next Steps for Accepted Intensive English Program Students
Are you accepted to the Intensive English Program?
Congratulations!
We are excited to welcome you to campus soon. This page and the next steps outlined below are for the following students:
- Students who are conditionally admitted to undergraduate study and are beginning their studies at North Central in the Intensive English Program.
- Students taking classes in the Intensive English Program.
Step 1: Pay your Deposit
- $100 for students living off campus OR $200 for students living on campus
- Ways to make your payment include:
- flywire for payments made with international credit cards
- North Central College's Official Payments portal for payments made with U.S. credit cards
Step 2: Submit your Documentation for I-20
- Review the steps to get a Form I-20 and apply for an F-1 student visa, and start the process.
- Required documentation includes:
- Copy of your passport
- Completed Affidavit of Support
- Bank statement
Step 3: Prepare for Arrival
- Change your North Central email password. Please check this inbox frequently for important updates.
- Read and have a medical professional complete the immunization form. This is a requirement for all students. Although you can get missing immunizations after arriving to North Central, it is usually much less expensive to get the required immunizations before you leave home.
- If you are living on campus, fill out your housing application.
- If you are in F-1 status, purchase health insurance through ISO (2026-2027 purchase link forthcoming). This plan is designed for and open to all F-1 international students enrolled at North Central College.
