Next Steps for Accepted ELI Students

Step 1: Pay your Deposit

• $100 for students living off campus OR $200 for students living on campus
• Ways to make your payment include:
  • flywire for payments made with international credit cards
  • North Central College's Official Payments portal for payments made with U.S. credit cards

Step 2: Submit your Documentation for I-20

• Review the steps to get a Form I-20 and apply for an F-1 student visa, and start the process.
• Required documentation includes:
  • Copy of your passport
  • Completed Affidavit of Support
  • Bank statement

Step 3: Prepare for Arrival

• Change your North Central email password. Please check this inbox frequently for important updates.
• Read and have a medical professional complete the immunization form. This is a requirement for all students. Although you can get missing immunizations after arriving to North Central, it is usually much less expensive to get the required immunizations before you leave home.
• If you are living on campus, fill out your housing application.
• If you are in F-1 status, purchase health insurance through GeoBlue. This plan is designed for and open to all F-1 international students enrolled at North Central College. You can purchase insurance for all months you will be in the U.S. using this link.
