Professor, consultant and researcher of business strategy and entrepreneurship with 10+ years of consulting experience with clients ranging from Fortune 100 defense companies to Indian retailers and technology startups. I have an MBA from the University of Southern California and a Ph.D. in Strategic Management from the University of Massachusetts. My research focus is on the association between capital structure (debt and equity), technology innovation and acquisition (Mergers & Acquisitions).
As an Assistant Professor of Entrepreneurship, I primarily teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Entrepreneurship. Since entrepreneurship is an applied field, my teaching style focuses on application. Specifically, market discovery, lean startups and scaling. I am also the faculty coordinator at the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship. In this role I coordinate various projects and practicums that members of North Central' business accelerator ConVerge bring to the center.
