Caitlin Luetger-Schlewitt is a Lecturer in Leadership and Career Readiness in the Leadership, Ethics, and Values Program within the School of Business and Entrepreneurship, Lab Coordinator for the Cardinal Internship experience, and an Associate Fellow for the NCC Center for the Advancement of Faculty Excellence (Cafe) at North Central College. Professor Luetger-Schlewitt's work is interdisciplinary, drawing on her background in the humanities, applied psychology/clinical counseling, and career & executive coaching to help students create a path toward a meaningful life and career.

As a scholar-practitioner, Professor Luetger-Schlewitt bridges academic research and real-world application. She has published in peer-reviewed journals, presented at both local and national conferences, and has been recognized as a subject matter expert in outlets such as Fortune, AACSB Insights, HigherEdJobs, and WorkLife. Prior to joining North Central College, she served as Assistant Director of Career Coaching & Education at DePaul University’s Kellstadt Graduate School of Business and taught history and general humanities at both two- and four-year institutions. In addition to her academic appointments, Professor Luetger-Schlewitt has worked in private practice as a psychotherapist and career counselor, supporting achievement-oriented college students, graduate students, and professionals across all stages of their careers. 

Professor Luetger-Schlewitt is a proud graduate of the North Central College Master of Arts in Liberal Studies program ('11) and holds a BA in History from DePaul University and an MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northwestern University. She currently holds an elected position on the Illinois Career Development Association Board of Directors, is a member of the Family Institute at Northwestern University Alumni Advisory Board, and serves as an Affiliate of the Center for Research on College-Workforce Transitions at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Professor Luetger-Schlewitt is passionate about liberal arts education, career & personal development, and the intersections of wellness, work, and the human experience.
