Making the world a better place can seem like a broad and idealistic goal, but not for students in North Central College’s Social Impact Entrepreneurship course.
As part of its mission to prepare students for action and leadership in a complex world, North Central College has opened the Center for Social Impact to develop the next generation of “changemakers.”
Sales interns at OWP Pharmaceuticals in Naperville spent their summer experiencing the start-up culture of a social enterprise. It was their responsibility to call neurosurgeons to discuss the firm’s branded generic medication for treating epilepsy.
