North Central College offers a range of opportunities for military veterans transitioning to academic and civilian life. Our programs and services have earned North Central College the designation of a 2017 Military Friendly School by G.I. Jobs magazine for embracing America’s military service members and veterans as students.
North Central fully participates in both the Post 9/11 GI Bill®* and Yellow Ribbon veteran benefit programs. Veterans eligible for 100% of the Post 9/11 benefit, based on Department of Veteran Affairs guidelines, will also qualify for Yellow Ribbon, ensuring that 100% of your tuition is covered.
If you're eligible for prorated veteran's benefits, you can combine them with other forms of financial aid to make North Central even more affordable. Our helpful and knowledgeable financial aid staff will work with you individually to identify all aid, putting a North Central education within your reach.
Once you have confirmed your veteran’s benefits with the Department of Veterans Affairs, we encourage you to learn more about North Central College through a campus visit built around your specific interests and with a current student veteran if possible. Campus visits can include a tour and individual appointments with the Veteran Services and Military Student Services Coordinator, faculty and staff. Call 630-637-5800 to make an appointment. Be sure to identify yourself as a veteran when first contacting the Office of Admission.
