Recognition caps stellar season for Raridon and men's basketball team

Connor Raridon '20 led the Cardinal men's basketball team all season, and the rewards were great. While he was all about his team's success, it was hard not to be impressed by the pile of honors he collected, with the best being saved for last.

Raridon became only the second North Central men's basketball player ever to be named to D3hoops.com's All-America First Team, following Landon Gamble '14 in 2013. The economics and finance major from Plainfield, Ill. was also all-region, all-distrct, and All-College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) for the fourth consecutive year, among many other awards.

The men's basketball team went 23-5, ending the season ranked sixth in the nation, winning their first regular season CCIW title since 2012, and playing their way to the Sweet Sixteen of the NCAA Division III National Championship before the season was ended by the COVID-19 pandemic.
