North Central College welcomes Marc Lamont Hill, award winning author, television host, activist and professor, as keynote speaker for the 2018 Martin Luther King Jr. Week celebration.

Every year, North Central College celebrates the life and legacy of civil rights leader Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., who spoke on campus in Pfeiffer Hall in 1960.

In partnership with Q, North Central College’s Office of Ministry and Service will host a Q Commons event. Q Commons gives speakers a platform to engage with diverse audiences on how they can become leaders who advance the common good within their communities.

Transitioning to college can be a daunting task, but North Central College offers students the opportunity to get a head start.

Reese Richardson believes that people instinctively desire to change the world for the better, and nowhere is this more apparent than on the campus of North Central College.

The ability to have meaningful, thoughtful dialogue on tough issues is a deeply held value at North Central College. It’s a value that some across campus believe is needed now more than ever. But inviting a group of people with opposing viewpoints together in the same room isn’t always easy.
