Chamber Ensembles

Brass Quintet

Dr. Sean Kelley, Conductor


Brass Quintet (MUS 307, Section 4) offers talented trumpet, horn, trombone, and tuba players an opportunity to perform chamber music of a wide variety of genres and time periods. The ensemble meets 2 to 3 hours per week in the Winter and Spring Terms. Performances are held in traditional both and non-traditional venues, including Wentz Concert Hall, the Naperville Riverwalk, and Jefferson Plaza. For more information, contact Dr. Sean Kelley. 

Clarinet Choir

Clarinet Choir (MUS 307, section 6) gives clarinetists the opportunity to delve more deeply into their instrument family and perform repertoire of a wide variety of styles. Weekly rehearsal time is determined each term. For more information, contact Andrea Di Orio.

Horn Quartet

Horn Quartet (MUS 307, Section 4) provides an opportunity for hornists to perform significant repertoire in the genre from the classical period to present day. The quartet meets 2-3 hours per week in the Winter and Spring Terms. Performance venues include locations around North Central College, Downtown Naperville, and throughout the area. Percussion Ensemble

Percussion Ensemble (MUS 307, Section 1) offers members the opportunity to study and perform a wide variety of music that specifically focuses on the colors, textures, and techniques of percussion instruments.
