eSports takes gaming to the next level

You may not think of video gaming as a social activity; you might think it involves spending hours of time alone, ignoring the rest of the world. But that's not the case for North Central students.

McLean Holmes ‘18, computer science major, does not call himself a video gamer, but that hasn’t stopped him from cultivating a vibrant new community on campus with those who do. That’s how deeply the world of eSports, or competitive video gaming, has inspired him.
