▢ Net Price Calculator

We offer a net price calculator that provides a preliminary estimate of your aid eligibility. Complete the calculator to gauge what aid you may be awarded while you await FAFSA availability.

▢ File the FAFSA

If you haven’t already, submit your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) using our school code 001734. If you are unable to file the FAFSA, contact your counselor for alternative options.

▢ Review Financial Aid Offer

Work with your admission counselor to review your Financial Aid Award offer and available resources.

▢ Submit your Deposit

Make it official and reserve your spot with a tuition deposit! You will also need to submit a housing deposit if you plan to live on campus.

▢ Register for Admitted Student Day

Join us on March 22 or April 19. This is the perfect opportunity to connect with future classmates, current students, faculty and your admission counselor! Can't make it to either? Schedule an individualized campus visit with your admission counselor.

▢ Complete Your New Student Survey

You'll complete your New Student Survey in the Canvas platform. You can watch for an email to arrive in your inbox inviting you to join Canvas and complete your survey. The New Student Survey allows you to confirm your orientation date preferences, placement testing dates and other important details before your start at North Central.

▢ Complete Your Placement Tests

All incoming first-year students are required to take a math placement test, and select students are required to take a foreign language test depending on completed coursework in high school and intended major. You'll select a date to take your placement tests in the New Student Survey on the Canvas platform.

▢ Apply for Campus Housing

Join the 1,400+ Cardinals who live on our campus each year by submitting your housing application. Living on campus gives you instant access to countless experiential learning opportunities outside of the classroom. Get started at noctrl.erezlife.com. Please note the priority housing deposit deadline is May 1.

▢ Submit Your Final Transcripts

Make arrangements to have your final high school and any college/university transcripts sent to North Central College.

▢ Attend Orientation

Orientation is designed to ensure you are confident and prepared to start classes in the fall. We're kicking off the Orientation program offerings with First-Year Advising & Registration one-day events and Transfer Experience half-day events.

▢ Complete Health & Safety Requirements

All new students should submit immunization forms to Dyson Wellness Center before July 1 and complete online health and safety training modules prior to the start of classes. North Central is committed to maintaining a safe and positive learning, working, social and residential environment. New students can also explore the many resources provided by our Dyson Wellness Center, including medical and counseling services.

▢ Make Payment Arrangements

The Office of Student Accounts will send your official bill to your College and personal emails around the first week of July. This document is also accessible on Merlin.

▢ Attend Orientation: Welcome Week

Orientation programming continues with an immersive multi-day event. This is your opportunity to get acclimated, set up your room if living on campus, make friends and most importantly, have fun—you’re officially a Cardinal!

Chat with a Counselor or Current Cardinal

We invite you to connect with current North Central students and staff via our chat platform Unibuddy. Here you can discuss the admission process, explore financial aid opportunities and learn more about life on campus as a Cardinal.
