Why pursue a degree in English Education at North Central College?
The English Education program provides preparation to successfully begin a teaching profession upon graduation. English Education majors also gain the skills to become a professor, editor, writer, novelist, speechwriter or journalist. A successful graduate from this program will be able to interpret literature and multimedia texts, plan instruction and assessments, compose texts, implement and assess student engagement and develop as an educator.
At North Central College, you will be required to pair your English Education degree with a major in Secondary Education or Education Studies.
