Rall Symposium for Student Research

It’s your turn to shine. Share your scholarly work with others at North Central’s Rall Symposium for Student Research.

Honors Day is a day to celebrate the many remarkable achievements of our students. This annual event welcomes undergraduate and graduate students of all majors to present their work in a professional forum.  You’ll gain valuable experience in sharing your original scholarship, including skills to help set you apart when applying for graduate and professional schools. Many Rall participants pursue internal grants for their projects, including the Richter Grant program.

The Rall Symposium was first held in 1998 as a forum for showcasing excellence in undergraduate research. Starting in 2023, both undergraduate and graduate researchers were invited to present their work. The event is named for Dr. Joseph Rall, M.D., Ph.D., North Central Class of 1940.  Dr. Rall has played a critical role in attracting Nobel Laureates and other distinguished scholars to speak to Symposium attendees.
